  • Member of the Ontario Kinesiology Association.

Clinical Experience/Area of Interest:

Taylor is certified in Functional Capacity Assessments; examining workers abilities to perform job demands and evaluates their physical tolerance of specific work tasks. As well, Taylor is certified in Complete Concussion Management, from baseline testing, concussion assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for a safe return to work/play protocol. Taylor is very passionate about working with diverse populations, especially helping others tackle new challenges. She has a solid clinical background in leading closely supervised Hydrotherapy programs to treat patients of all ages experiencing brain injury, diabetes, arthritis, motor vehicle accidents, post-op surgery, or spinal injuries. In the pool she focuses on helping her patients complete exercise programs focused on areas of gait retraining, balance, core, upper and lower extremity strengthening, stretching and relaxation. Taylor has worked as a personal trainer, where she counseled clients on understanding their individual fitness goals, lifestyle changes, and developed personalized training programs in fitness conditioning for weight loss, cardiovascular training, and muscular development. In her work, she is always dedicated to providing the most effective treatment to enhance her patients overall well-being.

On a More Personal Note:

Taylor is competitive in basketball, where she has traveled all over Ontario and the Eastern United States. Taylor preaches what she teaches by continuing to live a healthy active lifestyle from following her own fitness programs to playing Peterborough women’s basketball in the winter, as well as beach volleyball and soccer in the summer. When Taylor isn’t busy volunteering or staying active, she likes to relax with family and friends by cheering on her local Toronto Raptors and Blue Jays or fishing the Kawartha Lakes.
